Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adults patient of age 18-80 years scheduled to undergo elective unilateral intertrochanteric femur fracture surgeries under subarachnoid block. 2.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I, II and III. 3.Patients with preoperative Numerica Rating Scale (NRS) >4 at rest and on passive 15 degrees limb lifting.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Unwilling to participate or lacked the capacity to give consent. 2.Coagulopathy 3.Infection at the site of injection. 4.Allergy to local anesthetics. 5.On opioid for chronic pain.
