Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Skin biopsies of all hyperpigmented skin disorders of all age groups and both sexes of patients attending tertiary care hospital Bhavnagar.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with bleeding diathesis Samples with inadequate material

1) To assess site of occurrence of different hyperpigmented skin disorders 2) To estimate the proportion of different clinical conditions associated with hyperpigmented skin disorders 3) To estimate the proportion of acquired and congenital hyperpigmented skin disorders 4) To determine the association with systemic diseases and non cutaneous malignancies 5) To assess the histopathological patterns of hyperpigmented disorders of skin 6) To estimate the proportion of epidermal and dermal disorders amongst hyperpigmented disorders Timepoint: 12 months
