Inclusion criteria: CASE -1. All those with low serum Vitamin D levels 2.Age 18-60 3.All socio-economic strata CONTROL- 1.All those with normal serum Vitamin D levels 2.Age 18-60 3.All socio-economic strata

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Condition associated with vitamin D malabsorption like Crohn s disease celiac disease 2. Pregnant and lactating mother 3. Bariatric surgery 4. extensive dermo logical pathologies (psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, vitiligo) 5. people undergoing chronic therapy and medications like antiretrovirals
