Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • ASA Grade I & II • Age 18-65 yrs • Anticipated duration of surgery 1.5 - 2 hrs • Scheduled for orthopaedic surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)ASA > II 2)Age 65 years 3)Weight 110kg 4)Pregnant female 5)Patientâ??s refusal. 6)Patient allergic to the drugs used in the study. 7)Patients who were receiving any analgesics 24 hr before the surgery 8)Pre-existing neuromuscular disorder or spinal deformities 9)Patients suffering from epilepsy, liver disease, renal disease , chronic pain syndrome 10)Severe hypovolemia 11)Raised ICT (Intra Cranial Tension). 12)Severely altered mental status
