Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Primary caregivers of persons aged 18 years and older with dysphagia post HNC. - Caregivers who are proficient in the Kannada language (both reading and writing)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Caregivers of the persons with head and neck cancer diagnosed with dysphagia: - aided with the home nursing staff - care recipients with neurological impairments and respiratory conditions (e.g., asthma, pneumonia, bronchiectasis) Caregivers with any cognitive impairments or sensory deficits

Adaptation and Validation of CARES Screening Tool in Kannada in Caregivers of post-HNC persons experiencing dysphagia.Timepoint: 26 weeks

MeasureTime frame
Mean and standard deviation of the ratings would be used for the analysis of the data collected. The index of internal consistency of each item will be assessed using Cronbachs alpha.Timepoint: 26 weeks
