Intervention1: Low flow Anaesthesia Group: After successful induction of general anaesthesia with fresh gas flow of 4l/min and securing the airway neonates will be given inhalational FGF of 1 L/min fo

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Gestational age > 34 weeks Birthweight > 2 kg Undergoing abdominal surgeries Elective/emergency surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Gestational age Neonates with pre-existing fever, Hypothermia, sepsis Hemodynamically unstable or under more than one vasopressors Diagnosed hypothyroidism/hyperthyroidism Refusal by the parents to give consent
