Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The clinical outcomes will be assessed in functional scores (Visual Analogue scale (VAS) scores, Knee injury Osteoarthritis Outcome Scores(KOOS), International knee documentation committee scores (IKDC)and Tegner Lysholm scores), radiological outcomes (Xray assessment HipKneeAnkle (HKA) Axis, Medial Proximal Tibial Angle(mPTA), Kellgren Lawrence (KL) grading. MRI assessment Medial meniscus extrusion or Relative percentage of extrusion correction, healing of meniscus) for all the groups.Timepoint: Patients will be followed up at 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 18 months, 24 months and yearly intervals then after.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
second look arthroscopy to assess loss of cartilage lesion grade 1 to 4 on ICRS scale, and meniscal healing as Complete healing, Lax healing, Scar tissue, Failed healing.Timepoint: A second look arthroscopy will be planned at 24 months.
