Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age: 30 to 65 years 2. Patients with chronic periodontal abscess and type-II diabetes mellitus. 3. Uncomplicated periodontal abscess.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute abscess 2. Aggressive periodontitis, 3. Other Systemic disorders 4. Type-I Diabetes Mellitus 5. Teeth with mobility 6. Developmental disturbances 7. Endodontically involved teeth 8. Pregnant and lactating females 9. Long term steroid medication 10. Smokers 11. Immuno compromised individuals and 12. Those with history of antibiotic or periodontal therapy in preceding 6 months.
