Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the urinary metabolites as biomarkers for amino acid sufficiency in a short-term amino acid (lysine) supplementation in undernourished compared to healthy Indian Children.Timepoint: Baseline and at each 4 weeks during the 3 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To develop the urinary metabolomic profiles for insufficiency and sufficiency states in undernourished Indian children, and to validate blood and urine metabolome during growth faltering.Timepoint: Baseline and at each 4 weeks during the 3 months
