Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: CASES: All consenting adult patients (age 18 years to 60 years) visiting Yenepoya medical college hospital who are diagnosed to have Chronic plaque psoriasis. CONTROLS: Age and gender matched healthy volunteers
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: FOR CASES AND CONTROLS: Patients with inflammatory and infectious diseases, diabetes, pre-existing cardiovascular disease, hypertension, malignancies, pregnancy and lactation Ongoing systemic therapy in the last 3 months or topical steroid therapy for last 2 weeks
