Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Low birth weight ( <2.5 kg) infants from Sir T hospital and their mothers residing in area under Bhavnagar municipal corporation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Mothers/infants needing intensive care support after delivery of the baby. Infants unable to take oral feed. Infants having congenital anomalies.
