Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All adult ASA-PS I, II patients undergoing laparoscopic operative procedures under GA at Chirayu Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergency surgeries 2. ASA-PS III, IV 3. Chronic Pain disorders 4. Autonomic Dysfunction 5. Intra-operative hemodynamic instability 6. Any mental health issues

MeasureTime frame
To compare and correlate the change in perfusion index with painful stimulus (laparoscopic port insertion).Timepoint: T1- baseline, T2- intubation,T3-pneumoperitoneum, T4-1st port, T5- 2nd port, T6- 3rd port, T7- 4th port, afterward every 5 minutes till 60 minutes.

MeasureTime frame
To compare variability in perfusion index with subsequent pain stimuli after intravenous administration of 0.5 mcg/kg fentanyl. Timepoint: T1- baseline, T2- intubation,T3-pneumoperitoneum, T4-1st port, T5- 2nd port, T6- 3rd port, T7- 4th port, afterward every 5 minutes till 60 minutes.
