Interventions

Intervention1: Intraperitoneal instillation of ropivacaine with tramadol: This Group receives 28 ml of 0.5% Ropivacaine intraperitoneally with 2 ml of tramadol at the end of surgery intraperitoneally

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: weight between 50 kg â?? 80 kg ASA physical status I&II. Patients posted for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA PS III, IV&V. Local anesthetics allergy. Patients refusal. Pregnancy. Patients with CVS, respiratory, liver and renal diseases. If any other surgeries combined with the laparoscopic surgery in the same sitting like incisional hernia, umbilical hernia.

To compare Post-operative analgesic effect of intraperitoneal ropivacaine with or without tramadol in laparoscopic cholecystectomyTimepoint: NRS score for first 24 hrs for every one hour

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the incidence of adverse effects including PONV, LA toxicity and postoperative complicationsTimepoint: incidence of PONV, LA toxicity and postoperative complications for the 24 hours
