Intervention1: MADHUMEGA NIVARANI CHOORANAM: It is an Siddha herbal drug for the management of Type 2 DM.It will be given in oral route as the dose of 2gm(BD) with warm water for the duration of 60day

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects with age between 30-60 years Sex: All Gender Polyuria Polyphagia Polydipsia Blood glucose(F) - >= 126 mg/dl (14) Blood glucose (PP) - >= 200 mg/dl (14) HbA1C - >= 6.5% (14) On two or less than two diabetes medication

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women Lactating mothers Insulin dependent Diabetes Mellitus Cardiovascular disease Diabetic nephropathy Diabetic retinopathy T.B affected individuals HbA1c > 10%

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Outcome is mainly assessed by Reduction in clinical symptoms like Polyuria, Polyphagia, Polydipsia, and Fatigue. Timepoint: 4 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in blood sugar and HbA1C level (at least 20%) Timepoint: 10 weeks
