Inclusion criteria: 1)Upper abdominal surgeries 2)Post-operative day 2 3)Hospital length of stay >3 days 4)Willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Hemodynamic instability 2)Insertion of an artificial airway 3)Acute infection 4)Presence of ICD 5)Rib fracture within 6 months and other acute 6)chest trauma 7)Inability to follow verbal instructions
