Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Patient of either sex suffering from fever of age 5 to 12 years. 2) Acute onset fever of 1to 3 days 3) Temp between 99- 102o F. 4) Fever of acute onset without any complications i.e. dehydration, convulsions etc. 5) Children with parents who agree to participate and sign the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Chronic fever associated with infective disorder. 2) Fever more than 3 days and diagnosed with diarrhea, malaria, dengue, typhoid, pneumonia etc 3) If fever exceeds beyond 102o F. 4) If CRP > 6 5) If fever exceeds beyond 5 days. 6) Any febrile condition of children requiring an immediate intervention depending on history and general condition at the point of examination as found by the investigator will be excluded from study.
