Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants of either gender above 18years, diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus, presenting to the outpatient department of general medicine and consuming oral hypoglycemic agents for not less than 6 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women and participants consuming insulin with or without oral hypoglycemic agents as well as those who refuse to give written informed consent.
