Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients willing to give written informed consent, ASA grade I & II Age groups 20-50 years Planned for elective surgery under general anesthesia.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: H/O allergy to labetalol and esmolol , Anticipated difficult intubation, ASA grade III or greater, History of consumption of antihypertensive drugs, sedatives, hypnotics and antidepressants preoperatively, Pre-existing cardiovascular disease, significant respiratory, renal and hepatic disorder, bleeding disorder. History of drugs or alcohol abuse, Heart rate
