Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adolescents (10-14yr) with Mild Iron deficiency Anemia (11-11.4g/dL in 10-11 yrs and 11-11.9g/dL in 12-14 yrs)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Adolescents with known hematologic disorder (aplastic anemia, sideroblastic anemia, thalassemia, sickle cell anemia), thyroid dysfunction, chronic renal disease, menstrual irregularities, malabsorption syndrome, eating disorders or hypertension
