Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who had clinical suspicion and investigatory support for the diagnosis of peritonitis secondary to hollow viscous perforation who then confirmed by intra-operative findings were included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hollow viscous perforation due to penetrating abdominal injury, age 70 years.
