Intervention1: Laparoscopic eTEP mesh repair: 1. A Foley catheter to decompress the urinary bladder will be used for the lower abdomen defect and in cases with anticipated long duration of surgery.

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients of either gender aged between 18-65 years planned for mesh repair of ventral hernia. 2. Patients having uncomplicated primary ventral or incisional hernial defects. 3.Midline defect with expected hernial width equal to or less than 10cm.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient with associated groin hernia.
