Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children of age greater than 5 years and less than 18 years with diagnosis of Asthma ,according to GINA guidelines admitted in Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children whose parents deny consent; Children with known Congenital anomalies of the lungs, airways, cardiovascular system; cystic fibrosis, ciliary dyskinesia and immunodeficiency; Children with neurological problems.
