Intervention1: Ginger tea: 1000 mg of ginger powder in 200 ml of water, boiled to reduce 100ml, Individuals will be given 100ml of Ginger tea for 3 weeks after dinner, from the 6th day of Menstrual cy

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age – 18 to 26 years. 2. Female Patients have a history of regular menstrual cycles that occurs between every 28 to 32 days. 3. Subjects who are willing to participate in the study by signing an appraised consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Females having dysmenorrhea with underlying pelvic pathology (secondary dysmenorrhea) 2. Subjects history with abnormal uterine bleeding, infections 3. Females who are not willing to participate in the study.

1. Menstrual Symptom Questionnaire (MSQ) 2. Visual Analogue Scale (VAS)Timepoint: For both outcome done at two time points: Pre-assessment- 1st day of Menstrual Cycle in both groups, before treatment starts. Post- assessment- After intervention of 3 weeks, Assessment will be recorded on 1st day of next menstrual cycle.
