Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I, II and III, Surgical procedures â?? general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA grade IV and V, Allergic to local anesthetics, Presence of upper respiratory tract infection, Surgeries involving upper airway and lasting for more than 3 hours, Anticipated difficult airway preoperatively, More than one attempt of intubation, History of smoking

MeasureTime frame
To determine and compare the effect of topical application of 0.1% triamcinolone acetonide paste and 2% lignocaine gel to attenuate the incidence of post-operative pharyngolaryngeal complication.Timepoint: At the time of extubation, at 5 min, 10 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours after extubation.
