Intervention1: yoga: Yogic ocular exercise for total approx. 40 minutes in the morning, 5 days a week for 12 months Control Intervention1: Routine activity: Children not perfoming any ocular exercise

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. Children aged 8-15 years b. Spherical equivalent refractive error between -1D to -6 D c. Anisometropia d. Astigmatism e. Best corrected visual acuity 20/40 or better in both eyes f. Willing to participate and follow-up

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Any ocular pathology like glaucoma, amblyopia, strabismus etc. b. Previous ocular surgery c. Previous use of any myopia control therapies like multifocal lenses, orthokeratology, atropine eye drops etc d. Any systemic issues - cardiac, respiratory etc.

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the effect of yogic intervention including ocular exercise on changes in myopic refractive error (spherical equivalent).Timepoint: 2 months, 12 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the effect of yogic ocular exercise on ocular biometry and uncorrected visual acuity. Timepoint: 2 months, 12 months
