Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients older than 18 years of either gender. 2) Only patients who had mandibular molar teeth with pulp necrosis and radiographic evidence of apical periodontitis (minimum lesion size 2x 2 mm). 3) Patients with no history of pre operative pain. 4) Cooperative healthy patients who are willing to participate in the study and sign the consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Preoperative pain 2) Pregnancy 3) Systemic disorders 4) Treatment with antibiotics in the past 1 month 5) Analgesic treatment within the past 3 days.
