Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Groupâ??A Completely Dentate (10 subjects), Dentate- group representing â??â??ideal chewersâ??â?? in accordance with the international guidelines. Group â??B Completely edentulous rehabilitated with complete dentures (class) (10), Group-C Partially dentate (Kennedyâ??s class I situation either in maxillary or mandibular arch opposing natural dentition) rehabilitated with conventional partial dentures (10), and Group-D Completely edentulous subjects rehabilitated with mini-implant supported overdentures in the mandible and single complete denture in the maxilla (10). Each of the subjects was rehabilitated with the aforementioned prostheses and they were assessed for masticatory efficiency after 3 months of prostheses usage.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: subjects with Angleâ??s class II & III malocclusion, Systemic disorders (diabetes mellitus, hypertension etc.) presence of oro-facial pain and Signs of severe TMD dysfunction or neuro-muscular disorders
