Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: i. All critically ill patients admitted to ICU placed under mechanical ventilation ii. No pre-existing lower respiratory tract infection
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: i. Death or discharge within 48 hrs of inducing mechanical ventilation ii. Patients with blood dyscrasia iii. Completely edentulous patient
