Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who are clinically diagnosed with Acne Vulgaris. 2.Participants willing to take part in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients below 16 years and above 35 years of age. 2.Patients diagnosed with comorbidities such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, liver disease, renal disease or malignancy. 3.Physiological conditions like Pregnancy or lactation. 4.History of substance abuse. 5.History of treatment with systemic isotretinoin within the last 6 months. 6.Current use of medications which could possibly cause Acne.

MeasureTime frame
To estimate parameters of metabolic syndrome in patients with Acne Vulgaris and to correlate these parameters with severity of Acne.Timepoint: 18 months.—

To help in early diagnosis of Metabolic syndrome and initiating early lifestyle modifications amongst adoloescents and young adults.Timepoint: 18 months—
