Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants visiting Neuro- Medicine Out- patient department at Goa Medical College and Hospital of all genders of =60 years will be included in the present study from July 2022 to July 2023. 2. Participants presenting with Parkinson’s Disease at stage = 4 on Hoehn & Yahr Scale in the “ON ? medication phase and regular antiparkinsonian treatment. 3. Participants with Mini-Mental State Examination score of = 24. 4. Participants who have forward trunk flexion = 5° which will be assessed using wall goniometry. 5. Participants willing to sign the consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of previous trauma/ injuries to upper trunk such as brachial plexus injury, spinal cord injury, spinal canal stenosis, spinal fractures. 2. History of previous spinal surgery. 3. Neurological conditions such as vertigo, vestibular disorders. 4. Participants presenting with musculoskeletal conditions such as supraspinatus tendonitis, Ankylosing Spondylosis. 5. Cardiovascular co-morbidities that could interfere with postural control such as orthostatic hypotension, cerebrovascular disease, arrhythmias.
