Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria - 1. Children between the ages of 3 and 6 years 2. No previous history of dental treatment 3. Children who require treatment with local anesthesia procedure 4. No siblings in study 5. No physical or mental problems requiring special precautions 6. Children able to understand Marathi 7. Mother and child able to participate on successive visits 8. Healthy children with American Society of Anesthesiologists ASA scale, class I and II 9. Absence of any systemic disease and hospitalization within 6 months 10. General good health

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Child has undergone dental treatment previously 2. Children who require emergency dental treatment 3. Children who do not understand Marathi 4. Allergy to local anesthesia. 5. Need for pharmacological management to cooperate 6. No informed consent from parents 7. Children not watching at least 75% video 8. Past history of major medical illness including any disability 9. Mentally disabled children

MeasureTime frame
Anxiety level reduction is to be determined. Anxiety score of the child will be recoded at 5 different intervals by using Modified 6-point anxiety scale i.e. Venhams index. Venhams index score ranges from 0-6.Timepoint: Before watching video, after watching video, before administration of local anesthesia, while administration of local anesthesia and after administration of local anesthesia.
