Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All adult patients ( >18 years of age) who are clinically suspected and radiologically confirmed (chest x ray or/and CT scan thorax) with lung abscess and empyema

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient who will not give consent, HIV infected cases, Patients <18 years of age, Pregnant women
