Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants aged 18â??60 years 2. Participants who gave informed consent 3. Patient having FPG >=7.0 mmol/L (126 mg/dL), a glucose >=11.1 mmol/L (200 mg/dL) 2 h after an oral glucose challenge, or an HbA1c >=6.5%
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus patient and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patient who is already on oral hypoglycemics or insulin. 2. An impaired renal function (estimated glomerular filtration rate 3. Hypercalcemia (serum calcium >2.65 nmol/L). 4. The presence of severe anemia and iron deficiency anemia. 5. Chronic liver disease. 6. Alcoholism. 7. Pregnancy. 8. Any patient who is already on Vitamin D supplements.
