Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Correlation of Raised Cervico vaginal fluid trappin2/elafin in prediction of cervical shortening and spontaneous preterm birth.Timepoint: Investigations that will be carried out in all recruited subjects first time between 13-24 week at presentation and then repeated every 6 weeks till 28 weeks of gestation include: 1. Cervicovaginal fluid trappin levels. 2. TVS Cervical Length measurement. If the cervical length shortens to less than 25 mm before 24 weeks gestation, women will be offered treatment, either cervical cerclage with vaginal progesterone or only vaginal progesterone, according to clinical practice.
