Inclusion criteria: 1.PREGNANT WOMEN WITH PREVIOUS 1 CAESEREAN SECTION AND PREMATURE RUPTURE OF MEMBRANES ,FULFILLING THE CRITERIA FOR TOLAC AT 36 WEEKS AND ABOVE 2.SINGLETON PREGNANCY WITH CEPHALIC PRESENTATION 3.RUPTURE OF MEMBRANES LESS THAN 12 HOURS 5.BISHOP LESS THAN 4 6.CLEAR LIQOR AT INCLUSION

Exclusion criteria: 1.CLINICAL EVIDENCE OF CHORIOAMNIONITIS 2.SEVERE PREECLAMPSIA 3.HEART DISEASE 4.PEOPLE WITH HIV/AIDS 5.WOMEN ON IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS 6.SEVERE ANAEMIA 7.DIABETES MELLITUS ON PHARMACOLOGICAL THERAPY
