Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of both genders between 16 and 70 years of age who have fulfilled ICD 10 diagnostic criteria of schizophrenia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with substance-induced psychotic illness. 2. Patients with serious systemic illness. 3. Those cases where Family members are not willing to give consent to take part in the study
