Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age range : 18-50 yr Gender : Both ( Male and Female) Patients having moderate/severe chronic periodontitis with contralateral sites having PPD and CAL = 5mm and radiographic evidence of horizontal bone loss after phase 1 therapy. Systemically healthy patients

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients under any antimicrobial therapy within the preceding 3 months Smokers, tobacco chewers Pregnant, lactating patients Immunocompromised patients Patient on orthodontic treatment Patients with previous history of periodontal treatment
