Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To find out comparison of systolic blood pressure values recorded by non-invasive versus invasive methods in surgical patients intra-operatively during normotension under general anesthesiaTimepoint: Initially baseline non invasive BP & invasive arterial BP will be recorded simultaneously, followed by 3 simultaneous readings at a minimum time gap of 5 min starting from incision till the end of surgery during periods of normotension , hypertension and hypotension | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Comparison of : 1.DBP, MAP by both methods during normotension. 2. SBP, DBP, MAP by both methods during hypotension. 3. SBP, DBP, MAP by both methods during hypertension. 4. Automated MAP& MAP calculated using predefined formula in both methods.Timepoint: NIBP & invasive BP will be recorded simultaneously at a minimum time interval of 5 min at different ranges of blood pressures | — |
