Intervention1: Opiod free anaesthesia (OFA): Patients in group OFA will receive opioid free anaesthesia. These patients will receive pregabalin 2 hr before surgery and then 2 days postoperatively, dex

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consenting ASA grade I â?? II patients, aged 20-65 years, undergoing head and neck cancer surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of postoperative nausea, prior allergy to local anaesthetics (LA), chronic pain of any aetiology or patients who are already on opioids, patients with coagulopathies or having cognitive dysfunction.

Hospital Anixety and Depresscion (HADS) scale, Activity assessment scale,Post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV) score, rescue analgesic consumption in first 24 hrs, Activity Assessment Score (AAS), Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), Pain Detect Questionnaire (PDQ), Neuropathic Pain Symptom Inventory NPSI, (Douleur Neuropathique 4 Questions) DN-4 score, Short form survey (SF-12) scoreTimepoint: HADS AND AAS score in preoperative period Pain intensity using NRS at 3rd, 6th, 12th and 24th hr, end of 1st week, 4th week, 8th week and 12th week postoperatively.
