Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Advanced diabetic eye disease requiring vitrectomy (S/P scatter photocoagulation) 2. HbA1c - 7-11% 3.Hb - male: >12mg/dl female: >11mg/dl 4.aPTT: 21-35 seconds 5.Adequately controlled renal status 6. age >18yrs 7. BP < 150/90 mmHg on day of surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. NVG 2. Poor diabetic control 3. Anti -VEFF in last 6weeks
