Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Primigravidae mothers admitted in Lady Goschen hospital, who underwent a normal vaginal delivery 2. Single intra-uterine gestation 3. Mothers literate in Kannada 4. Mothers willing to bring their child for follow up in Regional Advanced Paediatric Care Centre hospital for immunisation. 5. Mothers with access to a smartphone. 6. Neonates which are term and Appropriate for Gestational Age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Mothers not willing to breastfeed or have a contraindication to breastfeeding 2. Mothers with postpartum complications, requiring ICU admission 3. Neonates with orofacial malformations 4. Neonates requiring intensive care (NICU admission)

Baseline and retention knowledge of the 3 study groups will be assessed with the help of a pre-test and post-test questionnaire respectively, and the percentage of knowledge enhanced in each group will be assessed using Friedmans testTimepoint: Baseline knowledge will be assessed within 24 hours of delivery, retention knowledge will be assessed at 6 months post delivery—
