| This project aims to develop antibody markers that will identify resistant and/or metastatic cells in the primary tumour tissue itself so that new therapies and approaches can be designed. We hypothesize that these cells evade therapy and emerge later (as recurrence or metastases) causing the morbidity and mortality of cancer. We wish to use tumour specific phage display antibody libraries to identify targets/ molecular markers of such metastatic stage specifically in the primary tumour tissue. Using these markers will then attempt to identify such cells in early stages of cancer.Timepoint: 12 months | — |
