Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Meeting the ICHD 3 criteria for chronic migraine 2 Headache history >3 months 3 Willing to complete daily diary 4 Willing to take medication for 45 days

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Age below 20 and above 60 years 2 Marked depression anxiety and psychosis 3 Major medical illness under treatment 4 Pregnancy 5 Use of any alternative medication during the study period 6 Patient suffering from secondary causes of headache

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Relief in sign and symptoms of the disease. The main sign and symptoms in the study are as follows: Severity of Headache Frequency of Headache Duration of Headache Nausea VomitingTimepoint: 45 days study with follow up every 15 days

Secondary

Reduction in scoring of following scales- 1 Migraine Disability Assessment Score 2 Visual Analog Scale 3 DASS ScaleTimepoint: 45 days study with follow up every 15 days
