Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: �All patients planned for elective major gastrointestinal surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: � Patients who refuse consent. � ASA 4 and ASA 5. � Time sensitive surgeries. � Emergency surgeries � Age � Conditions interfering with the ability to perform exercises such as paraplegia or orthopedic or neurologic impairments
