Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
NUMBER OF INTERMITTENT INTRAVENOUS BOLUS DOSES OF NOREPINEPHRINE OR MEPHENTERMINE REQUIRED TO TREAT SPINAL INDUCED HYPOTENSIONTimepoint: TIME (IN MINUTES) TAKEN FOR FIRST HYPOTENSIVE EPISODE & TIME (IN MINUTES) OF FURTHER EPISODES OF HYPOTENSION REQUIRING BOLUS DOSES OF NOREPINEPHRINE OR MEPHENTERMINE

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Time of first hypotensive episode 2. Number and timing of episodes of hypotension and reactive hypertension 3. To compare the number and timing of Bradycardia , Bradycardia requiring treatment and tachycardia. 4. To note maternal complications shivering, headache vomiting/nausea and local tissue ischemia. 5. To compare the effect of drugs on the fetus in both the groups : APGAR score at 1min & 5min Timepoint: 1. Number and timing of episodes of hypotension and reactive hypertension 2.
