Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The children having primary maxillary and mandibular molars with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis or necrotic pulp requiring single visit pulpectomy treatment. 2. The primary molar teeth in which no visible radiographic signs of root resorption are seen.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with any systemic condition, mental and physical disabilities like cerebral palsy, autism etc. 2. Teeth with inadequate tooth structure for restoration, perforated pulpal floor, swelling (intraoral or extraoral), sinus tract, pathologic root resorption and excessive mobility. 3. Teeth with anatomical variations like number of roots, root morphology (root anomalies).

Design outcomes

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To compare Obturation quality after using Kedo-SG Blue and Kedo S Plus rotary files in maxillary and mandibular primary molars. 2. To compare post operative pain after using Kedo-SG Blue and Kedo S Plus rotary files in maxillary and mandibular primary molars. Timepoint: 1. Obturation quality will be assessed at the baseline immediately after completion of pulpectomy procedure. 2. Post operative pain will be assessed after 24 hours of completion of pulpectomy procedure over a telephonic conversation.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.To evaluate Obturation quality in primary maxillary and mandibular molars after chemo mechanical preparation with Kedo-SG Blue and Kedo S Plus rotary files according to modified Coll and Sadrian criteria. 2.To evaluate post operative pain in primary maxillary and mandibular molars after chemo mechanical preparation with Kedo-SG Blue and Kedo S Plus rotary files according to Wong Bakers FACES Pain Rating Scale. Timepoint: 1.Obturation quality will be evaluated in primary maxillary and mandibular molars after chemo mechanical preparation with Kedo-SG Blue or Kedo S Plus rotary files according to modified Coll and Sadrian criteria at the baseline immediately after completion of pulpectomy procedure. 2.Post operative pain will be evaluated over a telephonic conversation after 24 hours of completion of Pulpectomy procedure using Wong Bakers modified FACES Pain Rating Scale.
