Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Undergoing general anaesthesia for elective abdominal, gynaecological, ear, nose and throat surgeries 2)American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical status I-II 3)Patients of either sex older than 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Pregnancy 2)Psychiatric illness or patients with mental retardation
