Intervention1: Vitamin D: Vitamin D supplementation will be given to the intervention group a dose 60000 IU once a week for 4 week And once a month for 5 months will be given orally. Control Intervent

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults having Type 2 diabetes having HbA1c 7% to 9%, taking sulfonylureas and or metformin along with Vitamin D deficiency

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects under insulin therapy, those with renal complications, uncontrolled hypertension, who are not willing to take part in the study and those who are seriously ill will be excluded
