Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (age >18 years) of either sex, belonging to ASA class I -III, undergoing elective unilateral thoracotomies for lung resection surgeries within the study period in the Department of Onco-Anaesthesia and Palliative Medicine at the B R Ambedkar Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital (BRAIRCH), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with unoptimized mechanical or parenchymal lung diseases including pulmonary hypertension (pre-operative FEV1 Patients with active infections – systemic or local Patients with hemoglobin Patients who are allergic to any of the study drugs
