Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Age 18 years to 40 years (Both genders) • BMI = 23 kg/m2 to = 30kg/m2 • Diagnosis of or receiving treatment for at least one month of the following medical conditions associated with increased CVD risk within the past 12 months: hyperlipidemia or dyslipidemia (documented diagnosis, low-density lipoprotein =160 mg/dL, or receiving statin or other treatment), hypertension (documented diagnosis or blood pressure of =140/90 mmHg on 2 occasions) • Smokers/ individuals with history of tobacco consumption will be included in the study • Willing to participate in the study and accept randomization.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Cardiovascular event (unstable angina, myocardial infarction) within the past 6 months. • Surgeries in the past 6 months. • Participants with known/self-report of chronic kidney disease, Atrial Fibrillation, Sepsis, Liver cirrhosis and depression. • Current diagnosis of arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. • Acute viral/pathogen mediated infections in past 3 months • Condition which interferes with outcome measurement. • Pregnant or planning a pregnancy during study period. Nursing mothers would need approval from physician. • Medically restricted from physical activity. • Known medical history of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
